How to pack flowers?

If you had to choose the most popular gifts, flowers would definitely be at the top of the list. After all, we give them a lot - on and off the occasion - and a few blossoms or a whole bouquet is usually a nice addition to the gift. The question of how to wrap flowers is therefore very topical.

Paper is the perfect choice

In the past, it was very popular to wrap flowers in transparent film, which many people simply call cellophane. However, this trend is fast fading from the flower packaging scene and giving way to much more aesthetic and beautiful solutions. One of these is paper. Kraft paper or coloured silk-metallic paper with a luxurious, silky feel are perfect.
Brown kraft paper is suitable for all types of flowers, it is versatile and looks particularly good if you want to give your bouquet a vintage feel or if the recipient has a strong appreciation of naturalness and ecology. Coloured silk or other papers allow you to create a luxurious, playful or whatever look for your flowers. The wide range of colours available gives you the opportunity to create harmony or subtle contrasts. Often the colour of the paper is chosen to match the colour of the flowers.

How do I wrap flowers in paper?

Before wrapping the flowers in paper, tie them together (a thin rubber band will do), whether as a bouquet or as individual flowers. The reason for tying the paper is to prevent the flowers from falling out when the paper is removed. Align the stems.
How do I wrap my flowers in paper to make them look pretty and tasteful? The choice of paper is very important, both in terms of quality and colour. Wrap the flowers so that they do not 'sink' into the paper, i.e. do not wrap them deep - you should be able to see the flowers when you look at them. You can use a single colour or a combination of two colours. You should not choose more colours as the flowers themselves will add them, so a large 'mix' of colours will look unattractive or even tasteless.
Choose the size of the paper sheets according to the size and volume of the bouquet. There are many wrapping methods, many of which can be found online, and you can choose the one that looks best to you. You can secure the edges of the paper with a stapler or a piece of tape.
