Types of corrugated cardboard
- Three-layer corrugated cardboard (type E) - Its thickness is 1.5-1.8 mm. Thinner and lighter, suitable for smaller, lighter items that don't require special protection but still require rigid packaging. This type of corrugated cardboard boxes has an aesthetic appearance
- Three-layer corrugated cardboard (type B) - Its thickness is up to 3.2 mm. The most commonly used type of cardboard, perfect for medium-sized and heavy goods. Type B cardboard is denser, stronger and more resistant than type E cardboard.
- Three-layer corrugated cardboard (type C) - Its thickness is up to 4.5 mm. Due to its greater thickness, Type C cardboard provides excellent impact protection for goods and is suitable for heavier or more sensitive goods that require additional protection. This cardboard is an excellent choice when resistance to mechanical impact is important.
- Five-layer corrugated cardboard (BE - BC - BB). Its thickness is from 4 mm to 7 mm. Boxes made of this cardboard are characterized by the highest strength. This type of cardboard is mostly used for the production of large boxes when maximum strength is required.
